Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. dark or light Karo
  • 1/4 c. oleo (Blue Bonnet)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 6 c. Cheerios

Instructions

  1. Brush jelly roll pan with oleo.
  2. Heat brown sugar, syrup, butter and salt in large saucepan on medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved, about 5 minutes.
  3. Do not overcook.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in cereal and nuts until well coated.
