Ingredients

  • 2 c. Bisquick baking mix
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 c. buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • ice water

Instructions

  1. Mix together Bisquick, egg, buttermilk and cheese. Add enough ice water to make a very soft batter. Spoon into lightly greased muffin tins and bake at 400° for about 15 minutes or until well risen and golden brown.
