Cheese Twists

- Empty pie crust mix into a large mixing bowl.
- Add shredded Cheddar cheese and mix in with a fork.
- Sprinkle cold water over one tablespoon at a time. Mix lightly with a fork just until mixture holds together and leaves sides of the bowl clean.
- Roll out on a lightly floured surface to 1/8-inch thickness.
- Cut rings with a small doughnut cutter or two different sizes of round cutters.
- Cut remaining pastry into 1/2-inch wide strips about 6 inches long.
- Twist strips once or twice and place 1 inch apart on large cookie sheets.
- Bake in a hot oven (425°F) for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove carefully and cool on wire racks.
- When cool, thread 2 or 3 strips through each ring and arrange on serving dish.
