Ingredients

  • 5 to 6 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. melted margarine
  • 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded cheese
  • 1/2 c. sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. In large bowl, mix peeled, sliced potatoes and margarine. Spread half of the potatoes in a baking dish.
  2. Cover with 1/2 cheese.
  3. Add more potatoes.
  4. Top with remaining cheese.
  5. Cover with foil and bake at 400° for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove foil.
  7. Sprinkle with almonds.
  8. Bake 15 minutes more until potatoes are tender.
