Ingredients

  • 1 angel food cake
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 9 oz. Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Cut the angel food cake into pieces.
  2. Place the cake pieces into a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, blend the cream cheese (at room temperature), powdered sugar, and Cool Whip until smooth.
  4. Add the cream cheese mixture to the cake pieces and mix well.
  5. Smooth out the mixture in the dish.
  6. Spread the cherry pie filling evenly over the top.
  7. Refrigerate before serving.
