Instructions
- Drain cherries and set aside the syrup.
- Add water to the syrup until it amounts to 3/4 cup.
- Pour the mixture into a small pan and bring to a boil on high heat.
- Pour the boiling mixture into a blender.
- Add cherry gelatin to the blender.
- Cover and blend at low speed for approximately 30 seconds.
- Add softened cream cheese and crushed ice to the blender.
- Blend at high speed for approximately 1 minute until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a mold or dessert bowls.
- Add cherries one at a time to the mixture and gently mix.
- Chill until firm, about 1 hour.
- Unmold and serve the dessert chilled.
