Ingredients

  • 1 c. margarine
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 can cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients except pie filling.
  2. Spread 3/4 of batter into greased 10 x 15-inch cookie sheet.
  3. Spread pie filling on batter.
  4. Dot remaining batter on top of pie filling and spread around a little.
  5. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
  6. Top with powdered sugar (sprinkle on) or powdered sugar/milk glaze.
  7. Great served warm for breakfast or as a dessert.
