Instructions
- Beat sugar, eggs, juice, vanilla and oil together; add dry ingredients.
- Mix well.
- Batter is very stiff.
- In a greased 9 x 11-inch pan, spread half the batter.
- Spread about 1 1/2 cans of cherries.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture.
- Spread remaining batter on top.
- Do your best to cover all the cherries. Sprinkle with remaining cinnamon and sugar mixture.
- Bake at 350° for 1/2 hour and 325° last 1/2 hour.
