Chestnut Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 2 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 (5 to 6 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped fine
  • 1/2 lb. ground round
  • 1/2 lb. ground sausage meat

Instructions

  1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a medium bowl.
  2. Add the meat and water chestnuts; mix well.
  3. Form into 1/2-inch balls.
  4. Place in a baking pan in a 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
  5. Can be frozen after they have cooled and stored for future use.
