A comforting chicken and rice casserole with creamy mushroom and celery soups, seasoned with onion soup mix and parsley, baked to perfection for a hearty family meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 1 cup white rice
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • a sprinkle of parsley
  • 1 1/2 cans water
  • chicken

Instructions

  1. Mix in a separate bowl everything but the rice.
  2. Place the rice in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch glass pan.
  3. Layer the chicken over the rice.
  4. Top with the liquid mixture.
  5. Cover with foil.
  6. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350°F, without peeking.
