Chicken Tacos

Chicken tacos are a delicious and versatile dish that combines tender chicken with fresh vegetables and melted cheese, all wrapped in a crispy taco shell. Ingredients

  • 2 lb. chicken
  • 3 large tomatoes
  • 1 head lettuce
  • 13 oz. Cheddar cheese
  • 10 taco shells
  • 1 c. water

Instructions

  1. In a large Dutch oven, put chicken in water and boil until tender.
  2. Cool the chicken.
  3. While cooking chicken, cut lettuce and tomatoes into small cubes and shred cheese.
  4. When chicken is cooled, tear from the bone and cut into small pieces.
  5. Oil a large skillet, put chicken in with one cup of water.
  6. Add taco sauce and seasoning to the chicken.
  7. Let simmer for 20 minutes.
  8. Ready to serve.
