- Boil 1-quart water with salt and pepper to taste. Add the chopped onion.
- Cook onion 5 minutes.
- Add macaroni and tomatoes. Cook 15 minutes, then add chili with chili powder and garlic salt. Cut cheese in cubes and add to mixture.
- Cook slowly until dissolved.
