Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon garlic juice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 6 plain vegetables

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250F (120C).
  2. Blend soy sauce, vegetable oil, garlic juice, sugar, and 2 tablespoons of water until well combined.
  3. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely; set aside.
  4. Cut 3 bagels crosswise in half to form semicircles.
  5. Lay the bagel halves onto their cut edges and cut into 7-8 thin slices.
  6. Brush both sides of the slices lightly and evenly with the soy mixture, stirring the mixture frequently.
  7. Place the slices in a single layer on a cookie sheet.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes until crispy.
  9. Remove the bagel chips and cool on a wire rack until completely cooled.
  10. Store in a sealable container.
