Choco-Mint Torte

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 3 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • 3 c. sifted confectioners sugar
  • 4 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. peppermint extract

Instructions

  1. Mix together melted butter and crumbs.
  2. Press into 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Bake 10 minutes at 350°.
  4. Cool.
  5. Cream 1 cup butter and confectioners sugar.
  6. Stir in chocolate and flavorings.
  7. Add egg substitute and beat until fluffy.
  8. Pour into pan.
  9. Chill 4 hours.
  10. Put Cool Whip on top.
  11. Garnish with shaved chocolate.
