Ingredients

  • 8 oz. jar herring tidbits in wine sauce
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 sweet red apple

Instructions

  1. Drain the herring and save the liquid from the jar.
  2. Place the herring, hard-boiled eggs, cored apple cut into chunks, and bread (with crust removed) into a food processor.
  3. Process with a steel blade until finely chopped to your desired consistency.
  4. If the mixture is too thick, stir in some of the saved liquid from the jar.
  5. Chill the salad and then serve.
