Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 large can whole tomatoes, crushed
  • 2 cans kidney beans
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
  • 1 small head cabbage, shredded
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 c. water

Instructions

  1. Brown ground chuck and diced onions in a large pot.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning mix to coat the meat and onions.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes, kidney beans, shredded cabbage, and water to the pot.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and let simmer for a couple of hours, stirring occasionally.
