Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 (5 oz.) box quick cooking rice
  • Uncooked frying chicken parts
  • 1/2 package dry onion soup mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Pour the quick cooking rice into a buttered 10 x 10-inch or 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  3. Mix the milk, cream of mushroom soup, and cream of celery soup together, then pour over the rice.
  4. Place uncooked frying chicken parts over the rice mixture.
  5. Sprinkle half of the dry onion soup mixture over the chicken.
  6. Cover the dish with a lid or aluminum foil.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 2 1/2 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
