Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 3 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 (3 oz.) pouch liquid fruit pectin

Instructions

  1. Crush blueberries; measure 2 1/2 cups and place in a large kettle.
  2. Add the sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and cloves; bring to a full rolling boil.
  3. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat and stir in pectin.
  4. Skim off foam.
  5. Pour hot into hot jars, leaving 1/4-inch headspace.
  6. Adjust caps.
  7. Process 15 minutes in a boiling water bath.
