Ingredients

  • 1 egg white
  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons grated orange rind
  • 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Whisk egg white in a medium bowl until frothy.
  2. Toss the pecan halves with the egg white.
  3. In a large bowl, stir together brown sugar, grated orange rind, orange juice, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  4. Add the coated pecans to the sugar mixture and toss to combine.
  5. Drain the pecans well.
  6. Place the pecans in a single layer on an aluminum foil-lined baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
  7. Bake at 325°F, stirring occasionally, for 20 to 25 minutes.
