Classic Steak Dinner

- Cook the potato wedges in the oven according to the packet directions, adding the shallots 10 mins before the end of cooking time.
- Season the steak with black pepper. Heat 2 tbsp of the oil over high heat in a large non-stick frying pan. Cook 2 steaks for 1 1/2 mins each side for rare, 3 mins each side for medium and 4 mins each side for well-done. Remove from the pan and keep warm. Repeat with the remaining steaks. Season with salt just before serving.
- Meanwhile, cook the broccoli and carrots in salted boiling water for 5-7 mins until tender. Drain and serve with the potato wedges, shallots, steaks and sour cream, sprinkled with freshly ground black pepper.
