Ingredients

  • 48 each fresh chives, cut into 6-1/4- to 7-inch (16-to 18-cm) lengths
  • 6 each hard-cooked eggs, each cut into 8 wedges
  • 12 slices cooked bacon slices, cut into quarters Rite Aid 2 For $7.00 thru 02/06
  • 3 each avocados, each cut into 16 slices Target 10 ea For $10.00 thru 02/06
  • 48 sticks cucumbers, cut into 1-1/2x1/4 x1/4 inch (4x1x1-cm) sticks
  • 3 each tomatoes, seeded, each cut into 16 wedges Safeway 1 lb For $1.29 thru 02/09
  • 48 strips grilled boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-1/2x1/4x1/4-inch (4x1x1-cm) strips
  • 48 each large Boston lettuce leaves
  • 1-1/2 cups Pure Kraft Refrigerated Asiago Caesar Dressing

Instructions

  1. Blanch chives in boiling water 10 sec.
  2. ; drain, then immediately submerge in bowl of ice water.
  3. Drain and pat dry.
  4. Place 1 piece each egg, bacon, avocado, cucumber, tomato and chicken on centre of each lettuce leaf; fold in both sides of leaf, then roll up.
  5. Tie closed with chive piece; trim ends of chive.
  6. For each serving: Plate 2 salad rolls.
  7. Serve with 1 Tbsp.
  8. (15 mL) dressing for dipping.
