Ingredients

  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 (6 oz.) packages frozen coconut
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. While cake layers are baking, put the sour cream, sugar, and coconut into a mixing bowl.
  2. Heat 1 cup of milk and 1 cup of sugar in a saucepan.
  3. Add one package of frozen coconut to the heated milk and sugar mixture.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  5. Let the cake layers cool before spreading the milk and coconut mixture between the layers.
  6. Allow the layers to set before spreading the sour cream and coconut mixture between them.
  7. Keep the finished cake refrigerated.
