Instructions

  2. Cut okra into 1/2-inch slices and place in a saucepan.
  3. Add salt, cover with boiling water, and cook uncovered for 15 to 25 minutes.
  4. Drain the cooked okra.
  5. To serve, season with pepper, butter, and vinegar.
