Country-Style Doves

Instructions
- Salt and pepper doves to taste.
- Flour them and place in oiled skillet at medium heat.
- Turn to brown evenly.
- Remove birds and place on paper towel to drain.
- Pour excess oil from pan.
- Add flour to remaining drippings to make gravy and stir.
- After paste begins to brown, add water to desired thickness.
- Add chicken bouillon cubes to gravy.
- Put doves back in gravy and top with onions.
- Add milk and stir.
- Cover and cook on low heat for 1 hour.
- Serves 4.
