Ingredients

  • 1 gallon crab apples
  • 1 1/2 gallons water
  • 3 cups sugar

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut off the ends of the crab apples.
  2. Cover the crab apples with water and boil until tender.
  3. Pour the juice through a strainer into another container to make clear jelly.
  4. Add sugar to the strained juice and boil until the jelly reaches the desired consistency.
  5. Pour the hot jelly into sterilized jars and seal.
