Cranberry-Lime Chutney
Ingredients
- 2 c. fresh cranberries
- 2/3 c. dark brown sugar ⓘ
- 1 large orange, peeled, pith removed, cut into 1/4" slices ⓘ
- 1 T. grated lime zest ⓘ
- 3 T. fresh lime juice ⓘ
- 1 medium tart apple, such as Granny Smith, pared, cored, coarsely chopped ⓘ
- 1/2 c. cider vinegar ⓘ
- 1/4 c. water ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg ⓘ
- 1/8 tsp. ground ginger ⓘ
- 1/8 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/8 tsp. ground allspice
Instructions
- Stir all ingredients in medium non-corrodible heavy saucepan until blended. Heat over med-high heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; simmer, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 45 mins. Serve warm or at room temperature.
