Ingredients

  • 1 box confectioners sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted oleo
  • 7 drops food coloring
  • 7 drops peppermint oil
  • 2 1/2 to 3 tablespoons evaporated milk

Instructions

  1. Combine confectioners sugar (except 1/4 cup), melted oleo, food coloring, and peppermint oil in a bowl.
  2. Mix with a fork until the mixture is moist.
  3. Add evaporated milk gradually.
  4. Mix with hands until workable, avoiding making it too moist.
  5. Roll the mixture into pea-sized balls or slightly larger.
  6. Flatten each ball with a fork.
  7. Let the mints dry before serving.
