Ingredients

  • 7 lb. cucumbers
  • 1 c. pickling lime
  • 5 lb. sugar
  • 1 qt. vinegar
  • 1/2 pkg. cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tsp. mace
  • 1 tsp. turmeric
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • green food coloring

Instructions

  1. First Day:
  2. Wash and slice cucumbers 1/4-inch thick.
  3. Soak in lime water 24 hours.
  4. Do not use metal pan.
