Instructions
- Make a syrup of 5 pounds sugar to 4 pints of apple vinegar. Tie cinnamon, allspice, ground cloves and ginger in a bag.
- Add to syrup.
- Bring to a boil and cook to dissolve sugar.
- Soak cucumbers in lime water about 10 to 12 hours (overnight).
