Currant Biscuits

Instructions
- Combine flour, sugar, Crisco, baking powder and currants.
- Mix like pie dough.
- Beat egg in a cup and fill with milk to measure 1 cup.
- Add to dough; mix and
- knead.
- Flatten to about 1/2-inch and cut with a doughnut cutter or glass.
- Place on prepared cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
- Check after 12 minutes.
- I like them softer rather than too baked as they tend to firm up after taking out of the oven.
