- Place meat in a glass baking dish.
- Season with 1 chopped onion, curry, thyme, pepper and salt.
- Cover.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Remove meat from refrigerator the next day.
- Place meat in a large saucepan; cover with water.
- Add oil.
- Simmer 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Add remaining half chopped onion.
- Simmer 15 minutes.
