Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. sugar

Instructions

  1. In large bowl, mix all dry ingredients together.
  2. Melt margarine, add to dry mixture; add milk.
  3. Mix by hand with a pastry cutter.
  4. Flour cutting board, place dough on board.
  5. Mold with hands to about 1 inch thick.
  6. Cut out biscuits.
  7. Place in shallow baking pan, sides touching.
  8. Bake at 450° until light brown.
  9. Makes 12 biscuits.
