Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 2 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 5 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • butter

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Add yellow cake mix, flour, and salt. Mix well and let the dough rise for 1 hour.
  3. Punch down the dough and roll it out into an oblong shape.
  4. Spread butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts over the rolled dough.
  5. Roll the dough up and slice it into pieces about 2 inches thick.
  6. Place the slices on a cookie sheet and let them set for about 20 minutes.
  7. Bake at 350°F for approximately 20 minutes.
