Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. black cherry jello
  • 1 c. cold water
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 can dark cherries, drained

Instructions

  1. Add 1 cup hot boiling water to the gelatin powder.
  2. Stir well until the gelatin dissolves completely.
  3. Add 1 cup cold water and stir thoroughly.
  4. Let the mixture set until almost congealed.
  5. Add dark cherries, pecans, and Cool Whip to the partially set gelatin.
  6. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
  7. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
