Ingredients

  • 2 (6 1/4 oz.) pkg. vanilla caramels
  • 2 Tbsp. evaporated milk
  • 2 c. pecan halves
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1/3 bar paraffin (canning wax)

Instructions

  1. Combine the vanilla caramels with evaporated milk in the top of a double boiler and heat until the caramels are melted. Alternatively, microwave at high for about 3 to 4 minutes, stirring often.
  2. Beat with a wooden spoon until creamy.
  3. Stir in pecan halves.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the caramel and pecan mixture onto a sheet of buttered wax paper.
  5. Let set for 15 minutes.
