Instructions
- Make the yellow sheet cake according to the instructions on the box and allow it to cool slightly.
- While the cake is baking, prepare the instant vanilla pudding according to the package instructions.
- Remove the cake from the pan and place it on a serving platter.
- Open the can of crushed pineapple and pour the juice evenly over the top of the cake, avoiding the sides.
- Spread the prepared vanilla pudding evenly across the top of the cake.
- Spread Cool Whip (or whipped cream) over the entire cake, including the sides.
- Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
