Ingredients

  • 3 cups bread cubes (no crust)
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 12 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 3/4 pound grated Swiss cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Soak bread cubes in milk for 5 minutes, then drain unabsorbed milk into beaten eggs.
  3. Set bread cubes aside. Add salt and seasoned salt to the egg mixture.
  4. Scramble the egg mixture over medium heat until half cooked.
  5. Stir in bread cubes and place the mixture in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  6. Sprinkle grated Swiss cheese over the top.
  7. Add cooked bacon on top.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
