Ingredients

  • 1 round steak
  • Crisco oil
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can water

Instructions

  1. Use Dutch oven or electric skillet.
  2. Cut steak into serving pieces.
  3. Salt and pepper to taste; dredge with flour.
  4. Brown in small amount of oil, then add 1 can cream of mushroom soup and 1 can water.
  5. Turn on low heat; cook 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
  6. Yields 2 cups of rich, creamy gravy and very tender steak.
