Deviled Chicken And Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken, cut up
  • 1/4 c. shortening
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 can consomme soup
  • 1/2 can water
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. catsup
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
  • hot cooked rice

Instructions

  1. Brown chicken in 1/4 cup shortening.
  2. Take out chicken and add to shortening 3 tablespoons flour, consomme soup and 1/2 can water.
  3. Mix together mustard, catsup and Worcestershire.
  4. Add to soup mixture.
  5. Add chicken and simmer, covered, for 45 minutes. Serve over rice.
