Ingredients

  • 500 grams fish Rohu, cut into medium-sized pieces
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bowl curd beaten properly to avoid lumps
  • 1 cup mustard oil
  • 2 tablespoons ginger garlic paste
  • salt as per taste
  • sugar as per taste
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1 cup curd
  • water
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom elaichi powder, roasted dry and ground
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon dalchini powder, roasted dry and ground

Instructions

  1. Fry the fish pieces in oil with salt and turmeric powder.
  2. Add oil to another pan and add ginger-garlic paste, salt, sugar, turmeric powder, red chilli powder .
  3. Add curd and stir nicely. There should be no lumps.Add little water.
