Doi Rui
Ingredients
- 500 grams fish Rohu, cut into medium-sized pieces
- 1 onion ⓘ
- 1 bowl curd beaten properly to avoid lumps
- 1 cup mustard oil
- 2 tablespoons ginger garlic paste
- salt as per taste ⓘ
- sugar as per taste ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon chilli powder ⓘ
- 1 cup curd ⓘ
- water
- 1 teaspoon cardamom elaichi powder, roasted dry and ground
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon dalchini powder, roasted dry and ground ⓘ
Instructions
- Fry the fish pieces in oil with salt and turmeric powder.
- Add oil to another pan and add ginger-garlic paste, salt, sugar, turmeric powder, red chilli powder .
- Add curd and stir nicely. There should be no lumps.Add little water.
