Ingredients

  • 14 oz Marshmallow Fluff
  • 6 c sugar
  • 1 1/2 c margarine
  • 1 1/3 c evaporated milk
  • 24 oz semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 c chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Stir together margarine, sugar, and evaporated milk in a heavy 2 1/2 to 3-quart saucepan; bring to a full boil, stirring constantly.
  2. Boil for 5 minutes over medium heat, or until candy thermometer reaches 234°F, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.
  3. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in semi-sweet chocolate morsels until melted.
  4. Add marshmallow fluff, vanilla, and chopped nuts (if using); mix until well blended.
  5. Pour into a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
  6. Cool at room temperature and cut into squares.
