Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/3 cup margarine
  • 4 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 large can Carnation milk
  • 13 oz. semi-sweet chocolate bits
  • 1 (8 oz.) jar marshmallow cream

Instructions

  1. Grease sides and bottom of a large saucepan with 1 tablespoon of margarine.
  2. Add 1/3 cup margarine, sugar, and Carnation milk to the saucepan.
  3. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  4. Cook until the mixture reaches soft ball stage, about 7 minutes from first bubbles.
  5. Remove from heat and add semi-sweet chocolate bits, marshmallow cream, and chopped pecans.
  6. Stir until the chocolate is dissolved.
  7. Beat the mixture until smooth and creamy.
  8. Drop spoonfuls onto waxed paper to cool and set.
