Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. melted butter

Instructions

  1. Beat together egg, milk and butter.
  2. Stir into dry ingredients. Turn out onto lightly floured board.
  3. Knead a few times to make a smooth dough.
  4. Roll out to 8 x 8-inch square.
  5. Cut into 16 (2-inch) squares.
  6. Drop into boiling broth and simmer, covered until tender, about 20 minutes to half hour.
