Ingredients

  • 1 fifth whiskey
  • 4 (10 oz.) packages frozen raspberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Mix whiskey and raspberries together and let stand for 10 days in a covered container.
  2. Strain and discard the raspberries.
  3. Bring sugar and water to a boil.
  4. Cool the syrup.
  5. Add the cooled syrup to the whiskey mixture and then add lemon juice.
  6. Strain again and bottle the cordial.
  7. Does not need to be refrigerated.
