Easy 6 Week Pickles
Ingredients
Instructions
- Pack
- large-mouth jars or
- jugs
- (I
- use
- gallon)
- with washed cucumbers. Pour apple cider vinegar to cover.
- Crumple tinfoil to go on top if cukes float. Put
- on
- lid,
- place in grocery bag and put in cabinet or closet for 6 weeks.
- Remove; pour off vinegar and rinse
- cucumbers.
- Trim,
- weigh
- and
- use same weight of sugar.
- Slice (any
- way you
- like)
- into
- jug, layering cucumbers and sugar until
- finished.
- Put
- on lid and put back in closet until sugar is dissolved.
- After dissolved, put small amount in jar in refrigerator to crisp and eat.
