Ingredients

  • cucumbers
  • apple cider vinegar
  • granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Pack
  2. large-mouth jars or
  3. jugs
  4. (I
  5. use
  6. gallon)
  7. with washed cucumbers. Pour apple cider vinegar to cover.
  8. Crumple tinfoil to go on top if cukes float. Put
  9. on
  10. lid,
  11. place in grocery bag and put in cabinet or closet for 6 weeks.
  12. Remove; pour off vinegar and rinse
  13. cucumbers.
  14. Trim,
  15. weigh
  16. and
  17. use same weight of sugar.
  18. Slice (any
  19. way you
  20. like)
  21. into
  22. jug, layering cucumbers and sugar until
  23. finished.
  24. Put
  25. on lid and put back in closet until sugar is dissolved.
  26. After dissolved, put small amount in jar in refrigerator to crisp and eat.
