Instructions
- Sift together flour and powdered sugar
- Combine egg whites, cream of tartar, salt until stiff peaks form
- Fold in sugar and flavoring
- Fold in the sifted flour and powdered sugar
- Pour into a 10 inch tube pan
- Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes
- Invert hot cake and let hang in the pan for 1 hour to cool
