Easy Corned Beef

Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 lb. corned beef
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. pickling spice
  • onions
  • celery
  • carrots

Instructions

  1. Soak corned beef in water to cover for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 300°.
  2. Place a large sheet of heavy-duty foil in shallow pan. Remove corned beef from water and pat dry to remove any salt on surface.
  3. Place in center of foil.
  4. Pour 1/4 cup fresh water over beef. Sprinkle with pickling spice and arrange vegetables over and around corned beef.
  5. Bring long sides of foil up over beef and seal with
  6. a tight fold.
  7. Bake 4 hours.
