Ingredients

  • 5 Tbsp. margarine, melted
  • 1/3 c. Karo syrup
  • 1 tsp. peppermint extract
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 4 3/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 drop food coloring

Instructions

  1. Thoroughly blend margarine, Karo syrup, salt and extract in large bowl.
  2. Add sifted powdered sugar; mix with spoon and hands until blended smooth.
  3. Knead food coloring into mixture.
  4. Shape into small balls; then flatten with tines of fork on wax paper. Let dry a few hours.
