Easy Refgrigerater Pickles

Ingredients

  • 6 cups cucumbers thin sliced
  • 2 cups onions thin sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups vinegar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric ground

Instructions

  1. Place half of the cucumber in a large glass bowl.
  2. Top with half the onion.
  3. Repeat the procedure with the remaining cucumber and onion.
  4. Combine vinegar and remaining ingredients in a sauce pan; stir well.
  5. Bring to a boil, boil 1 minute.
  6. Pour the mixture over the cucumber and onion; let cool.
  7. Cover and marinate in refrigerater for 4 days.
