Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup light or dark Karo corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Mazola margarine
  • 1 cup toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Grease an 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan.
  2. In a 1-quart saucepan, stir together the corn syrup, sugar, and margarine.
  3. Stirring occasionally, bring to a full rolling boil over medium heat and boil for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the toasted sesame seeds.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared pan.
  6. Allow to cool, then remove from the pan and break into pieces.
